I have shared with many of our guests what exceptional hosts owner Zino Mezoui and his wife, Jan, are. We get a lot of visitors looking for an exceptional experience and it's impossible to beat the hospitality and warmth you feel just walking in the door at Zino's.

Of course food is key, too, and they've got that covered as well. Zino's has food for almost every palate served in huge grandmother-size portions (you know how your gramma does it - enough food for two!).

Zino's sets the table with their bruschetta knowing that all the pieces matter in the food puzzle. The bread, the tomatoes - they're all good on their own and that's what makes the combination so special. From there, it's on to the plentiful dishes served by people who clearly take pride in what they do.

It's easy to talk about the food, the service and the beautiful views at Zino's and sound like you're their advertising copyrighter, but it's really all that good. But it's so rare to experience the kind of caring service you get at Zino's. This unwavering commitment to the customer experience is one of the reasons I so enthusiastically recommend Zino's to our out-of-town guests. I know they'll be coming back with a smile and telling their friends back home how wonderful Lake County is.

(Update) We had occasion to visit Zino's again last night (June 22) and found things are the same - great food, terrific service and beautiful sunsets. Sure, I know Jan can't control the view, but it was spectacular.

Once again I had my old favorite, spaghetti and meat balls, and the home-made meatballs continue to be wonderful. The sauce was great, too, with fresh tomatoes throughout that were cooked well and not overdone. The new entry/bar is a nice addition and a good welcome into what will be a warm dining experience. While the loss of Zino was truly sad, Jan and her family have been able to uphold the same high standards of food and service. If you haven't been in a while. or at all, go by and experience one of the better eateries in Lake County.

Great tasting food served in a relaxing setting. You will receive a fabulous meal along with timely service at this eating place set on beautiful Clear Lake. Zino and Jan are wonderful host!

Enjoyed a Wonderful evening with my husband Tony- dinner at Zino's Ristorante & Inn Tony had Zino's signature Spaghetti and Meatballs (Mama Mia!) and I had the Scampi which was to die for!! And best of all we got the full warm and welcoming hospitality that Zino & Jan are famous for! After dinner we watched the... moon come up on the lake- Dreamy! Zino, Jan and staff have created a culinary experience beyond equal, in Kelseyville - the fabulous European menu, top sheet wine list, genuinely warm staff, detail-oriented service, spectacular views and affordability are arguably a world-class enjoyable dining experience. Having dinner at Zino's feels like having dinner at "my cousin, the chef's"!

My husband and I went to this restaurant for an early anniversary dinner. The atmosphere and views were absolutely wonderful and the food was delish! Of course what really set the mood was the pianist. David Neft was really engaging and played some great pieces. Loved that he took requests...anyway, check out this wonderful restaurant , but make sure you call ahead for reservations because it is THAT GOOD!

HAVE BEEN THERE MANY TIMES THE FOOD IS OFF THE CHARTS SERVICE IS GREAT WE GO BY BOAT AND CAR WHEN EVER WE GET A CHANCE TRY THE ESCARGOT NO OTHER PLACE IN LAKE COUNTY THAT I KNOW OF EVEN HAS ESCARGOT GREAT PLACE YOU HAVE TO TRY IT BILL S.

Zino's has very good fish dishes, cooked properly and well seasoned. Per my husband the veal scallopini is well cooked and tasty. The roasted garlic and brie is one of our favorite appetizers. The view of the lake provides a nice atmosphere. The owner/chef is very friendly and always makes you feel at home.
